People process information in a combination of visual, audio or listening and kinesthetic, or through touch. If your message is not utilizing elements of all three of these learning, you could be missing out on good opportunities.
Your message needs to be presented in a visually appealing way. If not, visual processors will immediate ignore the message or have difficulty fully processing it. To a person who is an auditory or tactile processor, this doesn't make sense. An accountant or attorney or computer programmer may not see the importance of an effective visual presentation, but it is real.
On the hand, if the processor is a visual learner, and your message if visually appealing, it will attract their eye and draw them in. They will be more likely to process and retain your message just because it was visually appealing.
